Cannulated, Herbert and Headless Screws
Cannulated Screws - OSTYS® 4.0 mm
1. Hofer’s offering for compression and fixation of small fracture fragments or fractures in small bones.
2. Self-drilling tip to minimize torque when screwing in the screw, thus minimizing the risk of loss of repositioning or malrotation
3. Back-cutting thread design that facilitates screw extraction
4. Screw head to minimize soft tissue irritation, optionally retractable or combined with various washers in osteoporotic or osteopenic bone for maximum compression
Herbert Screws - OSTYS® 2.8 mm
1. The OSTYS® Herbert Screw System includes self-drilling and self-tapping screws.
2. In order to minimize the risk of soft tissue irritation, the Herbert Screw is designed with low profile screw seating and recessed break-off point. Wide range of screw length ranging from 10 to 40mm.
Headless Screws - 2.5 to 7.5 mm
1. The innovative design of the screws include a variable thread pitch and fully threaded length to provide strong compression and holding power for fractures, osteotomies, and fusions. The screw’s headless design is intended to minimize the risk of impingement or soft tissue irritation.
2. The screw is available in 2.5, 3.5, 4.0, 4.7, 5.5 and 7.5mm diameters.
